How do we get started?
Use the "Contact Us" tab to email me and we'll set up your free 20-minute intro phone call! Share your questions, ideas or goals for yourself or your child in coaching and I'll respond with how I might support you. If it feels like a good match to both of us, we'll make an appointment for a planning session.
How many sessions do you recommend?
That's what we'll decide together in the planning session, depending on your goals. Usually, I start with 3 sessions and then we evaluate how things are going.
How often will the sessions be?
That's up to you. I usually recommend a week to ten days between sessions for integration of your learning.
How much do you charge per coaching session?
I charge $100 per hour for adult coaching on the phone, on Skype or in my Belmont, MA office. If I travel to you, I charge $125 per hour of face-to-face time, within the Boston area.
Do you work with kids, too?
Yes! I love to work with children, ages 8 and older. I work closely with parents of younger children and confidentially with teenagers. As a learning coach, I help kids learn how they learn, and can do on-going tutoring, tailored to each child's Mind Pattern. I am also available for parent-teacher conferences and asset-based informal educational assessments.
How much do you charge for children's sessions?
For coaching and tutoring, I charge $75 an hour if you come to my home office in Belmont, MA. If I travel to you, in the Boston area, it's $100 an hour for face-to-face time.
What kinds of assessments do you do and how much are they?
I offer informal educational assessments for children and adults, which give you detailed information about how you or your child learns and individually-tailored suggestions for support at home, in learning environments and in every-day life. These include in-office sessions, classroom, home or work-life observations and extensive conversations. They range in price from $500-$1000, depending on your needs.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I prefer to use PayPal. You don't need an account with them to use your debit or credit card. If we are coaching in person, checks on Boston area banks or cash are also fine.
What about your Relationship Coaching? Is that the same price?
Coaching for partners, friends or teammates is $125 an hour over the phone or in person.
How do I sign up for one of your classes?
The easiest way to sign up is on-line, using the "Classes" tab and clicking on the offering you want. You can pay using PayPal, and I'll send you a confirmation.
Can you help me plan a workshop, class or teleconference that's really fun and effective?
That is some of my favorite work! We'll work out the details of time and price together, but please call me with your ideas!
